For a leading multinational company operating in the automotive field, we are looking for:
Feature Integrator
The Feature Integrator is responsible for the integration of the supplier code in the software baseline.In particular he is responsible for:
- Acceptance and integration of the software released by suppliers, running integration tests and delivering for domain integration.
- He integrates the developed modules and build them in the baselined version provided by the System Integrator.
- Evaluation of the software conformity according to a defined acceptance process and the quality gates
- Can reject a module when it does not fulfill the configuration management expectations (e.g. corrupted file, wrong historic, unexpected changes ),when the high-level software design rules are not fulfilled and when the related documentation is not available.
- He ensures that the components that contribute to one function interact with each other appropriately.
- He creates the integration test plan of the function & performs the integration tests that enable to confirm the function is implemented and record the status in a delivery report including code review report.
- Defects analysis and reporting
- He synchronizes and ensure communication between the development teams (MM and suppliers).
- Documentation (integration report)
- Supports the consolidated feature integration plan
In particular, the Function Integrator is responsible for:
- boot sequence tuning,
- regression testing and analysis,
- marker and automated measurement tools implementation,
- Transversal analysis of overall system performances
- Software instrumentation, tuning and improvement
- Boot time and response time analysis
Technical skills :
-At least 3 years experience being involved in real-time embedded systems developments
C/C++ programming skills
-Usage of real-time O.S. (Vxworks, Linux, Linux RT, or equivalent) and related debug tools
-Deep experience on SWCM process, methods and tools (Synergy, Clearcase, CVS, SVN or equivalents)
-Deep experience on Verification process and tools
-Deep experience on defect management process and tools
-Deep knowledge of static/dynamic code checking techniques an tools (CPPTest, PCLint, others)
-Deep knowledge of unit testing/SW integration testing techniques an tools (CppUnit, CUnit, others)
